Blog: Some Racist Symbols
I thought it necessary to briefly show what a few racist symbols mean. In my first post on a specific racist, I kept seeing the okay hand sign and thought it might be good to explain it and the meaning of some others.

Its not something to take lightly anymore, but we still need to be careful not to take its meaning out of context and assume it means white power instead of just okay. It may come as no surprise that US President Donald Trump often flashes the sign.

The Confederate flag was originally used by the Confederacy as it's "battle flag" during the American Civil War After the war, the flag became seen as a symbol of not only Southern heritage but also as a symbol for slavery and white supremacy....
...Which has caused it to be very popular among white supremacists in the 20th and 21st centuries. This popularity extends to white supremacists beyond the borders of the United States.

Pepe the Frog may look harmless but it has become an image commonly used in white supremacist memes. It is officially recognized as a symbol of hate by the Anti-Defamation League. While he was once considered a stoner frog he has now become a symbol of hate as the neo-Nazis associate him...
...With red pills, convoluted conspiracy theories, and Donald Trump. Trump himself even tweeted an image of Pepe in his own likeness, forever cementing the frog to himself, and to the most extreme of his supporters.
